Bird cages, aprons, and fat little pumpkins

So, I was supposed to be working on a fairy garden in a bird cage. At the moment, there is sand glued to the floor of the cage, and I have a little bird house that I can't decide how to decorate. I've set it aside for now. Hopefully, I'll find inspiration soon. Either way, it's sitting here, mocking me.

Of course, I still have plenty of other projects. I am never at a loss for something to do. I have a boat load of pet food bags that are supposed to be upcycled into reusable grocery bags. I have made a few, and they're in the shop. (<--Click there to check them out and buy one or five) Today, I felt like sewing. So, I whipped out twenty more bags, a prom dress, a replica of Cinderella's ball gown, and then made a seven course meal for six people. And if you believe that, you haven't been paying attention. I did, however, make an apron from one of the larger pet food bags. Strange? Well, yeah. But it's actually a great thing to have. Picture it, you're out in the garden planting out your zinnias, and you get all muddy. Oh wait! Your apron is water resistant. Your shirt is safe, and you can hose the apron off when you get done. (Personally, I would recommend taking the apron off before taking the hose to it, but that's your choice.) You could use your apron when you cook, clean, paint, craft, whatever! It's a handy thing to have around the house, and it's cute!

So, there it is. I was going to make another one, but it's after midnight and I'm a pumpkin. Tomorrow, maybe I'll look at that bird cage again. I might even work on it. Although, I'll probably just swear at it. I'm pretty good at that.
