I have been working pretty hard lately at making and adding lots of stuff to the shop. (<--- clickety click!) I still haven't finished that damn fairy garden birdcage, but I did get the little house decorated, a cute little birdbath made from a sea shell and a golf tee installed, and the green moss carpet in. I've been like a crazed woman hell bent on finishing off all those feed bags. I was having trouble motivating myself to make them because the handles are a bitch to make and attach. So one day, as I'm researching on Pinterest (Read: wasting time) I ran across the same bags, but with grommets and rope for handles. Seriously?? Why the hell didn't I think of that?? We promptly went out and bought grommets, a setting tool, and rope. I made three bags that night, and am up to 8 in the last few days. That's more than I made in 6 months of the other kind! (And right here, I took a break and didn't type anything for over a week. Yeah, I know)
Aaaaand, a week later, I start typing again..
Ok, updates! The rock tumbler is a great investment! I wire wrapped several pieces of glass and made them into pendants. Can you believe I sold one?! She even left a really nice review.
"Very smooth stone wrapped delicately with wire. very beautiful and unique. Super fast shipping and packaged nicely. Smooth transaction. A++"
Thank you, Kelli! My daughter also bought several items from me, because she's the best kid on Earth :) So, I can't ever say that I've never sold anything again. YAY!!
I made a wind chime (<--click it!) from drift wood and tumbled glass yesterday. I like how it turned out.
Next update, I have a ton of bags cut and ready to be cleaned. I asked Little Bee if she would clean them if I pre-cut them. She said yes, but I don't think she really knew what she was getting herself in to. She keeps looking at them and leaving for the ranch to visit her horse. I would probably do the same thing though.
Enough blabbing for now. Have a great week!
